The best ever! An iconic 1940's check plaid 2 piece dress that defines the mid to late 1940's.
The fabric is cotton...it is a bold plaid check pattern in browns and beige with yellow and red accent.
The top is FABULOUS!! Prominent shoulder pads, flirty short open sleeve (raglan cut), defining the female torso beautifully as it tapers to the waist.
From the waist it falls into a peplum with pockets. The top buttons up the back with iridescent period buttons. The waist has a self belt that ties in the back.
The skirt is a moderate A style. It buttons and zips (metal zipper) on side.
PLEASE....always ask for help if needed with size. Thank you. _______________________________________
CONDITION: Excellent to very good condition. It looks as great as you see it. Clean and ready to wear. There are a few very very faint bluish spots (very hard to find). The fabric is quite soft as this has seen use for sure. I think it adds to the charm.
SIZE: Small to small medium. Size is For reference only. Always use measurements provided below. We want this to fit you! PLEASE email or call with ANY size concerns.
My customers that call with any size or measurement concerns always have the best results.
~Bust: 36-37" (hard to measure due to raglan sleeve)
~Waist: 25" (if this is small for you...I am sure you can add to the band a bit...also it is under the top.
