Elizabeth Arden Gown or evening ensemble from the 1950s....to possibly the early 1960s. During this period Sarmi (1950s - early 1960s) was her in house designer.
Created with a figural watered silk....or silk Faille. Impressionistic rendered classical motif with garden gates, Putti, people, and dwelling. The color is soft taupey beige with peach, apricot, tan, and brown. Medium weight with great body and that always very rich looking shape defining ability that Sarmi has used to perfection.
The dress has narrow straps at shoulders, fitted through bodice with V in back. Skirt is straight cut with a generous inset in back instead of slit. Fully lined, all seams hand cast, hand set metal zipper.
The bolero jacket has raglan style sleeve, rounded shawl collar that has a slight elevation in back. Slightly below elbow sleeves, cross over in front and snaps shut with bow detail.
PLEASE....always ask for help if needed with size. Thank you.
CONDITION: Excellent condition....with the only issue being the hem, that has a touch of wear at the edge. It does not remotely detract if you leave the hem as found, and will disappear if hemmed a bit shorter. We picture this.
SIZE: Small to extra small. Size is For reference only. Always use measurements provided below. We want this to fit you! My customers that call with any size or measurement concerns always have the best results. PLEASE email or call with ANY size concerns.
