Vintage 50s - 60s Men's Gabardine Blazer w / Piping - 3 btn * 38-39

Nearly navy Gabardine, but with a slight teal cast...not as dark as some navy blazers. It might be wool or a blend of some sort.

Trimmed or piped with a lighter blue satin piping.

This could have been created as some sort of uniform blazer.

Notched lapels, 3 brass buttons, besom pockets, upper chest pocket, 2 buttons at the sleeve. Fully lined in blue satin lining, single vent in back.

The buttons are quite wonderful. They are embossed brass and made in Italy. The subject appears to be some sort of scales? If you have any information about what they symbolize, I would love to hear from you. Thank you. Extra buttons are provided.
