ABOUT Holly Harp: First opened her boutique in 1968 in LA. Then showcased in Henri Bendel New York 1972. Holly Harp Park (1939-1995) began manufacturing her designs under her own label in 1973. Inspired by vintage garments in her collection, she is well known for her "rich hippie" looks.
Twice-nominated for the Coty Award, she also created costumes for the movies Cabaret, Sleeper, and The Turning Point. Holly Harp was the subject of a retrospective at Decades Gallery in 1992 and her work was included in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's `Goddess' exhibit in 2003. Holly Harp's career spanned from the late 1960's to the early 1990's and her designs are highly collectible, prized for their timeless, romantic appeal.
PLEASE....always ask for help if needed with size. Thank you.
CONDITION: Excellent condition.
SIZE: Vintage label reads size Large...I would consider this more of a medium to a medium large as this would have been vintage sizing. It is quite difficult to measure for fit. We show it on a size 4 mannequin, and pinned part of the bust in back.
Size is For reference only. Always use measurements provided below. We want this to fit you! My customers that call with any size or measurement concerns always have the best results. PLEASE email or call with ANY size concerns.
~Length: 59" (it is not a complete maxi when worn as the tunic caused dress to blouse)
~Bust: 40-50" (obviously meant to be drapey)
~Shoulders: 18"
