AMAZING 30s - 40s Feathered Cadet style Hat *Gertrude Sheedy

As already mentioned, the hat style is a Cadet or Military inspired look. The ornamental plumes in front are created with soft peachy apricot tone marabou and Ostrich feathers. There is a slightly different shade in the Ostrich feathers. It has a black elastic to hold the hat...in back..a classic touch from this period.

I have handled quite a few all feather hats...but never have I seen one like this. Between the jaunty Cadet style and the refined elegant color of the feathers it is truly unique.

The pictures do tell the story best. Enjoy this fabulous hat. It is a wonderful collecting or fashion opportunity.

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. The feather patina is beautiful

SIZE: More or less one size as the hat is meant to sit on top of your head.
