Vintage 1960s Donald Brooks Psychedelic Print Halter Palazzo Pants

The halter top has a mock neck and button and loop closures and a darted bust. The palazzo pants are unbelievable, they have a forgiving elastic waist and wide flowing legs with split side seems permitting glimpses of the shocking pink lining. The flowers are phantasmagorical, pink, purple, turquoise, gold and ivory hues collide and combine in a collage of color. The whole ensemble is extraordinary and whimsical and just plain fun!

The outfit is in excellent condition, the missing button on the halter is the only flaw I can find. The superior quality of the design and materials allow me to say with complete confidence that this can easily thrive for another two generations. This is also from my BFFs mom's closet, and she remains the most gracious hostess I have ever known and a fun loving woman with impeccable taste and superb style. This ensemble is in the market for a woman like that!

I've shown the outfit inside out to best illustrate it's construction. I love the way it looks and would snip the size tag off the pants and wear them pink side out too.

Measurements: Though tagged a size 12, please use the measurements to gauge fit. Top: Neck: 14 1/2 inches, Midriff 31 1/2 inches, top to bottom 13 inches. Pants: Waist: 23 inches to 38 inches, rise i5 inches, outside leg seam waist to hem 41 inches, leg opening at bottom 28 inches.
