Rare Circa 1890 Loetz Cranberry Art Glass Vase In Figural Metal Armature
This diminutive vase is a true gem from the Art Nouveau Era. It is in a rare cranberry glass color with an intricate designed metal armature. On each side of the vase is a partially clothed woman with flowing hair and encompassed by an intricate flowing Art Nouveau design. The cranberry glass has a beautiful iridescent quality and the metal armature retains a patina that only is acquired with time. It measures 7 inches tall and 2 1/8 inches across the top opening and 2 ½ inches across the metal base. It is signed on the base, Riceszinn # 584. This lovely vase is in excellent original condition showing only normal age wear to the patina on the metal armature and was truly a great find.
