19TH Century Silver Enameled French Box With Basket Of Roses

This is a beautiful example of French artistry. It is an extraordinary fine silver box with a fine chaste detail of scrolls and stars which completely covers the silver on both the cover and box. On the cover is a magnificent hand enameled basket of roses. The wicker basket holds deep red, pink and soft yellow roses against a golden coppered colored background. It is hallmarked on the bottom and on the cover, please refer to photos. It is in excellent condition measuring 3 7/8 inches wide and 1 ½ inches tall. This is an absolutely stunning example of vintage French enameled silver.
