This is a beautiful example of Loetz from the Art Nouveau Era. This vase is the Formosa pattern produced in 1905. It has an exquisite iridescent finish with a raised swirled pattern that is Formosa. There is a polished pontil on the base. It has an elegant trifold shape and measures 5 3/4 inches tall by 5 1/4 to 5 1/2 inches wide and is in excellent original condition. The Art Nouveau Era was an elegant period and this is a fine art glass example of Loetz from that bygone time when craftsmanship and artistry meant everything.
