This magnificent antique French vase is worthy of being called Museum Quality. It is porcelain and bronze with the footed bronze base being ornate with lions heads and the top crown of the vase also being of an intricate bronze design. The vase has an amazing hand painted motif of birds that are just exceptional. It is artist signed Guillaume. The base is marked in green B & C Depose France, Ceril ET Montereau with the incised number 113. There is also a hand painted letter H. It stands 14 1/2 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches across the widest part with a top opening of the bronze filigree at 7 inches. The vase has an elaborate raised honeycomb design which enhances the entire piece. It is in excellent condition. It is Circa 1860 and a quality representation of French artistry from a bygone era.
