This is a fabulous example of pottery from the Art Nouveau Era. It is a rare Circa 1890 antique vase with a bat wing motif. The iridescent finish is fantastic with shimmering shades of deep purples and greens. It stands slightly over 5 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches at the widest part of the vase. On the base are the incised numbers 10051 and another mark which I cannot distinguish which may be the artists initials, please refer to photos. It is in excellent original condition and a great quality example of craftsmanship from a bygone Era.
