This is an antique Circa 1890 Moser vase in a very rare cut to clear deep ruby with an elaborate gold leaf design. The vase stands a monumental 15 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches at the widest part with a very unusual oval shape. The vase has an elaborate cut glass floral design flowing from styalized leaves. The floral design is accented by an intricate gold leaf design on both sides all of which create a very dramatic appearance that reflects the best of the Art Nouveau Period. Although Moser did produce early cranberry glass pieces, it is rare to find a piece in this fluid deep ruby color. It is in excellent condition with only minimal wear on the gold leaf design which does not detract and is expected with an antique vase. This is an exceptional piece and highlights the superior artistry of the Art Nouveau Era.
