This is a beautiful vintage Art Deco figurine produced by Erphila porcelain, Germany. This lovely young lady is dancing holding her dress out creating a flowing rhythmic design. The dress is variant shades of blue with black shoes. Her head is thrown back over her shoulders and the front of her dress has a bow. The amazing thing about this figurine is that it can be viewed from either the back or front as correct. It retains the original paper label. It is marked on the bottom, Erphila Germany, Est. 1886. There are also incised numbers, please refer to photos. It stands 10 1/2 inches tall and 9 1/4 inches at the widest point. It is in original condition showing only very slight crazing and a tiny pinhead on the base expected with a vintage piece. This is an exceptional example of the Art Deco Era and a fine vintage porcelain figurine.
