Exceptional Pair Of Antique Loetz Amethyst Art Nouveau Vases With Enameled Floral Motif

I recently purchased this beautiful pair of vases from an elderly lady in Palm Springs, California. She and her husband traveled the world for their business and collected some fine antiques along the way. She recently lost her husband and is down sizing and liquidating some of her treasures. This is one of the finest pair of Loetz vases that we have offered. They are Circa 1890 Art Nouveau Era and in excellent original condition. The vases are a deep iridescent amethyst and a very rare shape. They have a triangular shape that is flat in the back and pinched in on both sides and tapers to a 1 ¼ inch opening at the top, please refer to photos. The exterior of each vase has a raised web design and both have a beautiful hand enameled floral and leaf design. They measure 7 5/8 inches tall and 3 inches across the widest part of the body. This is a very beautiful pair of vases from an elegant bygone Era.
