This is one of the finest early cut glass dresser boxes from the famous Pairpoint glass house of that period. It is Circa 1900 and in excellent condition. The cover hinged and hand cut with a magnificent floral and butterfly motif. The base has a double inverted thumb print design with cross hatching inbetween. It measures 6 1/2 inches square and 3 inches tall. It weighs 4 1/4 lbs. This is a monumental dresser box in size from that period and an extremely fine example of Pairpoint.
