GOEBEL" "WESTERN GERMANY", old "V bee" mark in impressed circle, impressed marks are "STAE 11" "© 1958" "Albert Staehle" in script, 2-3/8"W x 3"D x 4-3/8"H - NOTE: Albert Staehle, 1899-1974 (see online bio by Sharon Damkaer), was one of America's most popular illustrators from the late 1930s into the mid-1960s, Staehle owned Butch & did figurines for both Goebel & Hagen-Renaker
