We are pleased to offer this beautiful sash or belt slide. We believe it is from the Victorian or Art Nouveau era, circa 1900. It is made of white metal in a round openwork shape with flowers, vines and four decorative prongs which hold a large round faceted black stone. We believe the stone is jet and so beautiful in its size, shape and faceting. The stone is in very good condition with a couple of minor chips on the back edge.
This piece measures approximately measures 2-1/2" in diameter overall. The stone measures 1-5/8" in diameter. There are two metal slides on the back. The slide is in very good condition overall and retains a nice aged patina as found.
