F & B Sterling Paul & Virginia Mirror - Circa 1905
The un-patterned side rim of the mirror has some of those 1/16" & smaller indent lines/dimples (see top half of photo # 6). There are also two spots of flatness to the curve of the rim. They are not an abrupt dent-they are a graduated disruption to the curve approx 7/8" long x 1/16" at deepest point (see bottom half of photo # 6). Also on the side of the rim are a strong set of readable marks. The actual mirror appears to be the original beveled one. It is in excellent usable condition. It has some very light pesky approx. 1/64" bites/ scuffing & a faint, light on again off again 1 1/2" surface scratch (see photo # 5). There are no ugly age or loss of silver backing spots. The mirror has no engraved presentation. The sterling mirror measures a total of approx 9 1/4" tall x 5 1/8" thru design area. The actual mirror is 4 1/2" in dia. A lovely Art Nouveau mirror for decoration or use. We are pleased to be able to offer a Paul & Virginia dresser jar, Item # 119, currently available on Ruby Lane.
