This circa 1975 bracelet is probably one of a kind. From the appearance of the backside of the links we believe this to have been custom hand made by a goldsmith. There are 8 pattern links and the 2 closure ends which make up this approx 7 3/4" long x 5/8" wide bracelet. All 10 pieces have a slight graceful curve shape as well as round hinges between each piece to give the bracelet good movement & a comfortable fit. The pattern links started out with a frame that had a piece of gold quartz channel set & then surrounded by gold nuggets. The closure has a frame that has two approx. 5 pt. brilliant cut diamonds that were also surrounded by gold nuggets. The bracelet also has a small security chain. The clasp is in excellent working order & closes with a firm click. It is marked 14K but Rich acid tested elsewhere on the bracelet for gold content. I can find one link (photo #8A) that may have had repair possibly to a loose nugget & my guess an open seam by a hinge. Also on the backside bottom of the clasp (photo #8B) I am assuming another repair. I am basing these opinions on a slight difference of gold color at these three points (see arrows). I have to keep in mind when I inspect this beauty that each piece was made individually (not cast). So it is hard to be 100% certain regarding repairs. I also found on the end that fits inside of the clasp a wave in the third bar (photo #8C). By putting the clasp on the first bar you can pick up an extra approx 1/4" in length to the bracelet (photo #9). A wonderful piece for a gold quartz jewelry collection or for that favorite man who likes to wear his collection. Please note that all the gold quartz and gold nuggets on this bracelet are natural. None are man made. The back plates are 14k.
