Daum Nancy Enameled Cameo Glass Miniature Tiger Lily Vase

The colors in this circa 1900 vase are just exquisite! The bottom rim & just a hint of the base has a mottled pastel to light evergreen leading into mottled pumpkins into mottled/streaked icy white with vertical streaking hints of yellow. It has a very very light texture, but not the standard granulated you find on a lot of Daum. The smooth top surface of the design motif is enameled. The ground's light evergreen & some portions of the leaves have been accented with shaded green enamel. The majority of the leaves have been enameled in shades of brown & a deep, rich pumpkin. The stems have the same browns, pumpkin & the addition of a touch of green. The tiger lilys have been superbly enameled by a wonderful artist in multiple shades ranging from peach to pumpkin to brick. Just magnificent work. The enamel is in excellent plus condition-at a guess I would say 99.99% there. The glass is also in excellent plus condition with no chips, nicks, cracks, blown out bubbles or repairs. The blown top rim is all original. The base has it's polished pontil. You can see on the base some pits (photo #6). This is NOT damage, it is just spots where the acid touched the base. The Daum signature is in cameo between the tiger lilys & leaves. A truly stunning example of Daum in a wonderful size. A wonderful piece for any glass collection or for a collector with limited display space. The vase stands 4 3/4" tall with a 1" top dia. & a 1 9/16" dia bottom rim. It is approx 2 3/8" thru it's widest point of bulge.
