English Cameo Scent Bottle Circa 1890

We attribute this wonderful Greek themed scent bottle to Webb. The background is a mottled blending of a lovely pastel yellow to a pale butterscotch & includes a delicate veined texture cut into the bottle. The bottle then has two portraits, some additional design work & the word "xapie" all done in a rich caramel colored cameo (photo # 3). The glass is in excellent plus condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. The base of the bottle has expected roughness original to manufacture (photo # 3). The side of the bottle has it's English Registration mark. The bottle has what we are sure is it's original English sterling screw on lid. The lid contains marks as seen in photo # 4. The sterling has no rips, tears, dings, deep dents or repairs. It does have that uneven surface that thin antique sterling has from faint flattening of it's surface from usage, cleaning & age. The bottles neck is covered in a sterling threaded rim. Both the lid & sterling neck's threads are in smooth working order. The bottle is 2 15/16" long x 7/8" at it's widest point.
