Amber & Cobalt Fry Atomizer Perfume Bottle For De Vilbiss

This lovely atomizer has it's original hardware w/a new cord & bulb replacement. It's gold plate is bright & almost totally even in color. It has a slight dulling at the area where the perfume sprays out. It's threads & glass draw tube are intact. It's beautiful amber bottle is wheel cut in a floral motif. The base is a vivid cobalt blue. Stunning combination w/lovely decor! The glass is free of cracks, chips, restoration. When held at just the right angle & light it has so little of a faint all over mottled fog I almost didn't mention it! It does have a more visible stronger mottling at the top curve of bottle at top of flower decor. After looking real hard I did find a 1/32" scratch in amber at top by hardware. When viewed w/a loop it is a makers oops w/the cutting tool. The cobalt base rim had a few specks of what looked to be dust. But when I viewed w/a loop found them to be not dust but a few 1/64" bites & one 1/32" long x 1/64" nick. The base has a polished pontil. This was very well taken care of! It is unsigned Fry as was common. It held a paper label for De Vilbiss at one time. Bottle is a total of 7 1/4" tall w/a 2 1/2" dia base (glass is 4 5/8" tall to metal). Circa 1925. I do have the same shape/decorated rare dauber style bottle for sale in a pale amber (depended on the day & glass artist for color depth) -Item #190. Please read ABOUT US & TERMS OF SALE.
