Sculpture Bronze Bird Sanctuary Leaves Forest Original Art Limited Edition Medallion Canadian Artist Julia Trops

Size: Approximately 6"x4"x.75", weight ~1 lb. Lost wax method. Subject: This is the second version of the medallion Sanctuary I made for the Spirit of Kelowna project. The first version will be in the City's collection, displayed at City Hall. Inspired by the stories in the emails from a wonderful client Matt who spent the summer of 07 taking care of birds just outside of Winnipeg, MB, as well as the open hearts of the residents of Kelowna during the 2003 Okanagan Mountain Park fire (google-able). Matt has receiving the first casting, and the second casting is offered here. I made the mold and wax as well, and it is in being cast at the foundry. This medallion was been juried in to the Best of MASC show in Kelowna for July and August. Limited number available before the mold is broken. Please contact me.

I do all the work on the bronzes from beginning to end with the exception of the ceramic mold and the pouring of the bronze.
