A large (2 & 1/2 by 1 & 3/4 inch) Anglo Indian (Madras or Swami jewellery)silver brooch representing a dancing Hindu goddess. Though the brooch is antique , the clasp with the safety closure may have been added later.The brooch is in excellent condition and weighs 24 grams.
