A large antique Art Deco six light lantern with its original etched glass. Dating from the first part of the 20th Century, the chandelier was salvaged out of St. Louis, Missouri. This darkened nickel fixture begins with a simple canopy with leaf trim, with a decorative loop finial crowning the chandelier body. The chandelier body features six panels of textured glass etched with an abstract Art Deco design, surrounded by scrolls and leaf detail. The top of each panel features addorsed C shapes, each flanking a circle of frosted glass in a nickel border. The chandelier finishes in volutes with a foliate finial at the center. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures approximately 14-1/4" wide and 32" tall, and the fixture is 58" long overall.
