Offering a beautiful six piece vanity set from the 1950's marked; Lenwile Ardalt Verithin - Japan. Included are three covered powder or trinket boxes and a flower vase, all in white porcelain with applied white roses and carnations. The trinket boxes are in three sizes;
1) The largest is 5" in height and 6" in diameter. It has an attached lid that is heavily covered with applied flowers.
2) The medium size is a replica of the larger one but measuring 4" in height and 4" in diameter.
3) The smallest has a lid that is not attached. This one measures 2 1/2" in height and 3" in diameter.
The vase stands 8" in height and comes in two pieces; a heavily flower covered base and a cylinder with a fanned and ruffled lip.
The set is a pure white color but looks shaded in the photos. The pieces in this vanity set are remarkably free of damage with only one chipped petal and another tiny nick on the edge of a flower. I may be missing a nick as the flowers are so many but I have examined these with a glass. The bodies of all pieces are free of any chips, or cracks.
A stunning vanity set for the lover of white roses.
