Offering a rare, vintage 1916 advertising booklet from the Curtice Brothers, Co. of Rochester, N.Y. They were early producers of canned and bottled food.
This 16 page booklet (8 double sided pages)is called: a Pictorial History of Hospitality – with a few suggestions for recipes.
Each page has colored graphics of different civilizations (dainty illustrations that are historically accurate, as the introduction tells us) and beneath them are recipes you can make with various Curtice Brothers products.
The booklet measures 5" X 7" and is printed on heavy card stock that is yellowed by time. There are no tears, or scribbles, or missing pages. The inside of the front cover has a few light stains.
The booklet is wonderfully interesting and beautifully designed, and as it was a give-away advertising piece, is very hard to find.
