Offering a vintage colored lithograph, featuring a scene from ancient Rome.
This is signed in the print by Pinelli Fece 1809 Roma and has a number 14 in the corner. It is called: Comitiva di oziosi giocando alla Zecchinetta – in Roma.
Bartolomeo Pinelli (1781-1835) was famous for his depictions of the people of Rome. This lithograph on heavy cream paper board is professionally framed, matted and under glass. My aunt lived in Italy and this is from her estate.
The whole piece with frame measures 15" X 19".
I have four of these prints by Bartolomeo Pinelli featuring the people and traditional dress of different regions of Italy. They are listed separately.
