Child's Plate - West Union, Ohio - Fishing Theme c.1915

"That's where we'll go" says the little boy in this charming plate. The sign he's looking at is an advertisement for a local store. It reads "Compliments of Mrs.Ed McClelland West Union,Ohio". Made about 1915, this plate shows a boy and his dog all set for a bit of fishing. It's in very good condition and has a gold rim and nice colors in the center. The plate measures 8 3/4". Mrs. McClelland must have given it to her best customers about 100 years ago, but now Ohio fans or children's plate collectors will have to pay!

I was just told by a customer that Mrs. McClelland had a jewelry store in West Union. It's all so interesting!
