Fostoria Victoria Early American Pattern Glass Individual Boat

Fostoria Victoria Early American Pattern Glass Individual Boat 2 Available

Fostoria Victoria Early American Pattern Glass Boat Shaped Dish. This piece dates from the 1890's. I have seen this shaped called a pickle dish, but I tend to think they were made as ice cream dishes. They are in my opinion an early style of banana split boat. Whatever the original intent, they are just lovely clean clear glass. We have 2 of these for sale separately.

DIMENSIONS: 3 1/2" high at the ends and it is 8" long and it is 2 3/4" wide.

CONDITION: The glass on both are clear, clean and bright. There are no chips and no cracks and the piece has not been ground. There are a few “straw” marks on the bottoms of the boats. This is not damage it is a natural part of blown glass making.
