This is the perfect piece for a planting of spring bulbs. In the summer it could be the pot you use to hold a planted yellow tea rose. The porcelain is snow white, the painting is not what I would call delicate, but is done with broad strokes and is spring time colorful. The lack and cheddar colored bands around the top were fired under the glaze. There is a factory drain hole centered in the bottom. This is a useful and handsome piece that will serve you in your home for years. It is numbered on the base 2227, probably a design or artist number.
DIMENSIONS: 5 ¾" tall x 6" opening at top x 4" footed base
CONDITION: no serious problems of any sort noted. There are several rust and water stains on the inside in keeping with use. Someone at some time put "tape" across the hole on the bottom and there are vestiges of that on the bottom. I will remove that for you with "goo gone"
