Theatre Troop in Bury Quebec in Japanese Costume 1911 Black and White Photo

Fresh from a northern New Hampshire estate this photo is just wonderful. Signed on the backside G.E. Sayth Bury, PQ July 27, 1911. There is a man in the front row who is either done in black face or is a Negro. My opinion is it's black face. There is another man in the center of the photo dressed as a Japanese woman. With wig, floral kimono, fan, flowers in his hair when you look at his throat you see his adam's apple. The costumes are just wonderful... consider they are on the other side of the world and it was 1911! There is a Japanese flag in the back row behind the row of "Japanese" soldiers.
