Sterling Art Nouveau Lady Brooch Lovely Large and Stunning

This lovely brooch is one of the nicest Art Nouveau "lady" brooches you are likely to find any where.The brooch is very 3 dimensional, it is not flat. Marked Sterling on the backside it has a C clasp. This is vintage period piece, not a reproduction, Art Nouveau piece. The makers mark is clearly seen in the photo of the back. It was made by La Pierre Co New York New York 1888 since 1929 a part of International Silver. It measures 2 1/4" long x 2 1/4" wide. Perfect symmetry!The lady is centered in the middle of the brooch. her flowing hair forms the remainder of the piece.There is a large flower,Poppy, on both sides of her head. CONDITION: excellent over all. She has one very small dent to the tip of her nose, a spot most often affected in these 3 dimensional pieces. It is not in anyway a glaring problem.
