This is a fantastic depiction of an old world Belsnickle Santa. He is wearing a bi - colored suit. The top area is ochre the bottom is golden yellow. His hat which is fur trimmed is blue. The suit is tied at the waist by a rope. He is leaning on a cane as he stops to speak to a young boy dressed in an Edwardian blue and white sailors suit. The boy has his hands clasped in a prayer like formation. Maybe he really!! wants to plead his case for being good! Santa has freshly a cut tree tied to his sack.The card is nicely embossed.This is really a dear card one of my all time favorites.This card is # 47 in my group. Mailed to: this card was posted,does have a stamp but I can not make out the address. It was mailed from New York N.Y.
CONDITION: The condition is overall very good. There is minor wear to one corner. BTW the corners on this card are factory rounded.
