Here for your buying pleasure is a DARLING 7-1/4 inch antique German doll attributed to Simon & Halbig. Circa 1895-1910.
She is a bisque shoulder head doll, with a solid dome head on a cloth body with bisque lower arms. She is ENTIRELY ORIGINAL in presentation and is wonderfully painted, with finely executed features and coloring. She has dark brown glass eyes. She is GUARANTEED to be FREE OF ANY HAIRLINES, INVISIBLE REPAIRS or MANUFACTURER'S DEFECTS! She wears her original little REGIONAL COSTUME constructed of black velvet, sheer sleeves and tiny tin emblems at the waist. As she has NEVER BEEN UNDRESSED (her costume is originally sewn on) she retains her original matching slip and pantaloons with lace trim, and original black leatherette shoes. Her wig is GLORIOUS! It is constructed of brown mohair with LONG BRAIDS!
She is a WONDERFUL little doll, being the PERFECT SIZE for a large dollhouse, or a vignette setting with fashions - where she could be the small child doll.
