Young Child China Doll - "KINDERKOPF" with Unusual Porcelain KINTZBACH Hands and Stockinette Body!

This WONDERFUL child doll Kinderkopf stands 22-inches in height and has the WAVY, WINDBLOWN black hair that these dolls are known for. Individual BRUSHMARKS surround his/her BEAUTIFUL face! These child dolls were meant to serve as either a GIRL or a BOY as gender was determined as to how the doll was dressed. But for the sake of ease in detailing I will refer to him as a boy - as to me he seems to have more of a boyish look than a girlish one.

His facial features are BEAUTIFULLY EXECUTED displaying finely detailed painting to his black thinly lined eyebrows, lovely BLUE EYES with BLACK PUPILS and red lines above his eyes. His cheeks are delicately blushed and he has that little PERT SMILING MOUTH, with the open white space found between her lips, INDICATIVE OF THE EARLY KESTNER CHINA DOLL HEADS. You will find the little white dots in his blue eyes, and the little red circular nostrils added to his nose that indicate Kestner manufacturing on this doll also.

HIS CONDITION IS AS SUCH. . .he has a HAIRLINE stemming from the side of his shoulder plate that can be seen in the pictures - also on one side of his head there is a MANUFACTURING FLAW which clearly occurred during the firing of this head. These are his two apologies and he is being priced taking these two considerations into mind. Even with these flaws he is quite an UNUSUAL and SELDOM FOUND china doll - if perfect he would be in the $2300 to $2400 price range.

His ORIGINAL body is MOST UNUSUAL being constructed of STOCKINETTE material with LOWER PORCELAIN KINTZBACH HANDS. He will come to you as you see him - undressed.
