This beautiful, Edwardian style festoon lavaliere necklace is from the 1940's, and has brilliant pastel pink and crystal clear rhinestones set in a shiny gold filled setting. The design with scrolls is very typical of the early 1900's style, and all the square and chaton cut crystals are prong set. The 5 larger stones are open and foil backed, with a tiny bit of wear on the foiled backs of the crystals-- but not noticeable from the front, still very bright and sparkly. In lovely vintage condition, it measures 15 and 1/2 inches long and 1 and 1/2 inches wide. It is marked CM-12 KT.GOLD FILLED on the back, and has a rare, older style thumb spring ring in a slightly larger size for ease of use. A marvelously romantic beauty!
