The diameter is 5 inches and the height is 6 inches. It weighs one pound two ounces.

The flask is free from chips or cracks. The gilding is worn in places from handling over the years. The stopper has one chip on the underside of the leaf edge which is very difficult to see because of the irregular leaf edge and the fact that the edge has worn smooth with handling over the years.

The minute flecks of gold in the glass which give it the blue opaline quality can be seen especially when viewed against the light. A true sign of a quality opaline glass antique.
