Mother of Pearl Flower Pin

I believe this piece was made in the 60s. It is in excellent, almost new condition.

It is 4" tall x 1.75"

The pin is a tall graceful gold plated flower with hand cut, hand carved mother of pearl petals. The center of the flower is a crystal aurora borealis stone. It is marked, not very clearly, Battani.

Battani had been in the fashion accessory business since the 1960's - manufacturing handbags, belts, costume jewelry and lastly, ladies shoes and boots as a division of MUSI. In 1976 Battani closed down all its manufacturing facilities but MUSI remained open until 2001.
