This example is a contemporary reproduction of an original old cast iron stake-bed truck toy. An extremely rough surface and modern fasteners holding the halves together are typical of newer cast iron 'toys' and banks and help to easily identify this item as a modern import.
Other characteristics that assist in its identification are the modern power tool grinding marks visible along the bottom edges and the poor details. Reproduction cast iron toys often have individual pieces that don't fit well together. Check for misalignment and gaps at seams and where side pieces meet.
Don't be fooled by the rust you see underneath on a piece like this, either. It is quite easy to 'age' brand new cast iron by wetting it and allowing it to oxidize. Bright orange rust is new 'faux' damage intended to be mistaken for honest patina. Is is not an indication of age.
Measures 4 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches wide.
