Henderson's Little Red School House Shoes Victorian Trade Card c. 1887
"All who wear Henderson & Co.'s Red School House Shoes Raise Your Hands," this trade card says. The lithograph shows a teacher asking this of a room full of boy, all of whom have raised hands, except one, whose face is in hands in grief over not wearing the famous shoes.

The card says, "Copyrighted 1887 by C.M. Henderson, Chicago." The verso offers the pitch for all of Henderson's specialties, and the card carries,"For Sale by Slagg & Potter, Cambridge, Wis."
It measures 4.25" by 2.75" and is in very good condition, as our photos should show.
