Vintage Oaxaca Mexico Green and White Dripware Creamer or Pitcher

This small green and white Oaxacan pitcher or creamer is a great example of the traditional dripware of Oaxaca, Mexico.

The region's dripware blended colors by allowing subsequent glaze applications to drip over the top of previous ones.

It is 5" high and 3.5" in diameter at its widest point. It is in very good condition with one small spot from a firing bubble on one side and some roughness to the texture of the rim on which it sits. It is unmarked.

It is made of slightly thicker clay than similar ones had and weighs slightly more. It is very sturdy.
