1936 Gay Ranchero Sheet Music Connie Boswell

"Latest Mexican Song Craze" was its billing. This colorful six-page sheet music is certainly worth framing or taking its rightful place atop the piano.

It was performed popularly by such stars as Roy Rogers and Chet Atkins, but as the cover of this sheet music states, a;so "sung in inimitable style by Connie Boswell on Decca Records."

Boswell was, of course, the stand-out among the Boswell Sisters.

"The Gay Ranchero," of "Las Altenitas," was written by J. J. Espinosa, and this sheet music contains both his Spanish lyrics and the English lyrics written by Abe Tuvim and Francia Luban. The sheet music was published by Edward B. Marks Music Corporation.

It is standard sheet music size and in very good condition/ It has the stamp of a Portland music company on the cover.
