This undivided back postcard shows the Chicago South Halsted Street Lift Bridge open.
It was sent but no longer has its stamp. Our research dates it at 1905. All undivided back postcards, of course, date from 1902 to 1907.
The card has been colorized and a fine metallic glitter has been applied to the the bridge structure. The card is 5 3/8" by 3 1/2" and is in good condition with some wear to corners and discoloration to the back.
It was manufactured by P. Schmidt Publi. of Chicago and made in Germany No. 826.
