These undivided back postcards, over 100 years old, show the hey day of New Jersey shores.
The "On the Beach Asbury Park, N.J." card is sent to and from Hoboken in 1905 with a one cent Ben Franklin stamp. It was made by the H.C. Leighton Co. of Portland, Maine, printed in Germany. It is in very good condition.
The "2716 Marlborough Blenheim Atlantic City, N.J." card was sent with a one cent Capt. John Smith stamp from Atlantic City to South Carolina in 1907. It was made by the Souvenir Postcard Co. on New York and printed in Germany. The Marlborough Bienheim was one of the premier resort hotels. It is in good condition by has bumped corners and some discoloration at the edges.
Both postcards are 5.5" by 3.5". The undivided back postcards were made--by law--between 1902 and 1907.
