Bing Crosby Learn to Croon Sheet Music from College Humor 1933

Deco lettering on the front and back and a tune clearly designed for the great crooner himself: "Learn to Croon" as performed by Bing Crosby in the popular 1933 musical "College Humor."

It was 1933 amid the Great Depression, and a silly plot about a college professor having a romance with one of his students and creating trouble with her football hero boyfriend seemed just want the nation needed. But if the plot has not endured, the music has. You can even hear this song on Youtube!

The song was by Sam Coslow and Arthur Johnston and produced by Famous Music. The cover shows some wear (see our photo, and you can zoom in on it), and there's a pencil note with the name of the gift's donor. Otherwise the sheet music is in pretty good condition -- ready for your piano or a frame.
