These two wonderful red clay pots are in good condition with no chips or cracks but some surface wear and paint loss to the cold paint decoration painted on after firing. Both have a flower painted on each side. One of the four painted flowers has seven petals and the other three have six petals.
Both pots measure approximately 3.75 inches in diameter and were made by one of the pueblo tribes here in New Mexico sometime around the 30's. From our research we believe the pots were most likely made by either the San Juan Pueblo or Santa Clara Pueblo given their style and design.
