Vintage Oaxacan Dripware Pottery Bowl / Vase with Floral Frog -- Mexico circa 1930s

This gorgeous piece of pottery from Oaxaca, Mexico is a perfect example of dripware and one of the few pieces we've found containing an attached floral frog.

The rich tapestry of colors includes yellows, blues, greens, reddish orange, and purple. The frog is yellow with brown accents. The bowl/vase measures 8" wide, 4.5" high, and the frog is about 5.5" in diameter.

It is clearly marked Oaxaca, Mexico on the bottom. It is in very good condition, thicker than much of Oaxacan dripware, with no real chips but some rough spots on the bottom rim.
