This lovely little cup celebrates the famous horse-drawn carriages (caleches) of Quebec so popular with tourists. One side is a picture of the caleche and the other is "Quebec Canada" in gold.
The Bovey Pottery Co. LTD from Devon, England operated from 1894 to 1957. The particular mark on this little cup is one used from 1937 to 1949.
It is 3" high with 2.75" diameter and has green trim in addition to the horse and carriage depiction. It has some grazing but no chips or cracks. There are a couple of slightly darker spots on the cream-colored glaze. (See photo.)
Bovey pieces are quite collectible.
