This spry and rare little wooden toy dates to the 1920s and was made as both a toy (he does roll on those little wheels) and advertising for Poll-Parrot Shoes.
The business was started by Paul Parrot who put the company name of several different kinds of toys and other items for children since his company specialized in children's shoes. The business, which lasted into the 1950s, was later bought by the International Shoe Company, which was already selling Red Goose and Weatherbird shoes.
This rolling yellow rabbit stands 5.5" high. "Poll-Parrot Shoes" is printed in gold across the middle. He is in good condition though his eyes have lost their white paint.
